As an important achievement, the Military Industry obtains certification in the Basc standard (Business Alliance For Secure Commerce), which promotes safe international trade and directs organizations to operate in an agile, legal and secure manner, through the application of globally endorsed procedures. An important achievement that was possible thanks to the unconditional commitment of all the collaborators who were involved in the process.
The audit carried out, during the week of December 11 to 15, showed that Indumil has a robust security system, which largely complies with the parameters established by Basc in the category of exporting and importing company and adds to the purpose to lead the company towards its internationalization and the opening of new markets.
This certification also allows Indumil to become the first entity of the Defense Social and Business Group-Gsed, certified in the international Basc standard and the only one of a military nature in the world that operates under the standards of the system.
It is important to indicate that working with the support provided by the Basc organization allows Indumil to shield its supply chain against risks associated with loss, theft, drug trafficking, smuggling, terrorism, money laundering and any other illicit activity that threatens against the company's control and security system.
Having a solid comprehensive management system largely facilitated certification in the Basc standard and the implementation of the control and security system in the entity's supply chain, supported, of course, by the leadership of senior management and the commitment of all the people who were involved in the process.
