Participatory Planning is understood as the mechanism through which civil society decides the direction of policies, plans, programs, projects or procedures according to their needs. Participation can occur in the delimitation of expected results and impacts and in the definition of products and activities.

The Participatory Budget is mandatory for regional, district, municipal and local governments and not for national entities (Art 90, 91, 92 and 93 Law 1557 of 2015).

The Military Industry embraces the guidelines for articulation, coordination, cooperation and participation of all interested parties, for the formulation and implementation of plans and strategies that resolve the needs of citizens, in accordance with the purpose and mission of the Entity.
