INDUMIL RECEIVES RECOGNITIONFOR THEIR EFFORTS IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
Within the panel of “Winners of the National Quality Award” the Presidential Agency for Social Action recognized three public entities that have stood out for their efforts in the implementation of Quality Management systems.
Bogotá DC, June 16, 2011. Within the framework of the VII International Forum towards excellence in public service to overcome poverty and reconciliation, held on June 14 and 15, Acción Social and the USTA-ICONTEC agreement delivered to the Military Industry a special recognition for being "one of the public entities that stands out for its efforts in the implementation of Quality Management systems on the route to Excellence in public service."
With the objective of "Consolidating a reputation as an exemplary public entity", Acción Social led the forum seeking to strengthen knowledge and share experiences between entities and public servants, from the countries belonging to the Organization of American States and Latin America through continuous improvement in the provision of service and implementation of comprehensive and Quality Management Systems, under international standards and models of excellence.
USTA-ICONTEC, exalted the commitment and thanked Indumil for its passion, conviction and effort, thus being an example of a "System of Heart" on the route to excellence.
