On October 21, 2019, a framework agreement for cooperation in science, technology and innovation was signed between the Colombian Military Industry and the COLFUTURO Foundation, with the objective of promoting, supporting and financing the training and training of INDUMIL collaborators, to develop academic activities in technical, technological, professional, master's and doctoral programs.
Dr. Jerónimo Alfonso Castro Jaramillo, director of COLFUTURO, Mr. Admiral (RA) Hernando Wills Vélez, General Manager of the Military Industry, his management group and representatives of the Company's workers participated in the meeting.
“This is one more step that we take in our strategy for Human Talent Management, to support and finance the training of our collaborators through this cooperation agreement with COLFUTURO,” emphasized the Adm. (RA) Hernando Wills at the signing of the document that opens academic opportunities to all INDUMIL collaborators.
In turn, the Director of COLFUTURO celebrated that, “The Military Industry is a company that incorporates knowledge in science, technology and innovation and this can be reinforced with the identification of master's and doctoral programs in all the universities in the world of our hand".
This initiative will teach the adaptation in implementation of new technological methodologies and tools related to science and innovation and specialties required by the Military Industry.
