Accepting these considerations, the incorporation of environmental aspects in the decision-making of all the management to be carried out in the entities of the Military Industry is a high priority, from the stage of conception, studies, projects, execution and start-up of the new ones. objects, modernizations, introduction of new technologies, and the marketing of products and services. It is important to keep in mind that although environmental protection is the key to sustainability, it is not the only factor to consider.

The sustained economic recovery that the country is experiencing, together with the institutional changes that are taking place, provide a solid basis for the establishment of an Environmental Strategy in INDUMIL, whose guidelines lead to a higher stage in the protection of the environment and the rational use of natural resources.
It is necessary to establish a balance between development and the environment, without attempting to obstruct or slow down development, but achieving continuous improvement, reducing costs, eliminating the overexploitation of natural resources and the negative impacts of disorderly development, minimizing residuals and taking into account modern environmental management techniques.
