The Metallurgical and Metalworking Factory, whose main objective is the supply of artillery ammunition for the Military Forces, dedicates its installed capacity largely to the manufacture of metalworking products in both conventional foundry and microcasting, for different companies within the field. national and international, counting on an infrastructure that allows it to produce cast, machined and microcast parts in different types of metallic materials. This plant develops its specific activities, both administrative and operational, always under the concept of quality.
Within the different production lines and services originated in this factory, we mention some of the following:
- Production of military products (MGL), Artillery ammunition. -Laboratory services.
- Maintenance of medium and major weapons such as 90 mm cannons.
- 125 Lb IM Aerial Bombs – General Purpose.
- IMC XUÉ bombs of 125, 250 and 500 Lb – Pre-fragmented.
For the Civil Sector:
- Casting in: Alloyed, Stainless, Manganese, Refractory, Carbon Steels. Nodular, Alloyed, High Chromium, Gray and Non-Ferrous Irons.
- Microcasting in: Carbon, Stainless, Gray Iron and Non-Ferrous Steels.
- Services: Machining, Thermal and Surface Treatments, electrostatic painting, laboratory services.
