The Colombian Military Industry signed an agreement with the multinational Thales, in a meeting between the General Manager of the Military Industry, Admiral (RA) Hernando Wills Vélez and the Director of Thales in Colombia, Jérôme Copin, to facilitate technological transfer between both companies .
The General Manager of INDUMIL celebrated that with this alliance "important issues were defined to cooperate with Thales, technological exchange and contribute to the positioning of the Military Industry and its products in other countries."
Since the consolidation of the 2019 – 2022 Strategic Plan “Projecting the future”, INDUMIL has been continuously working to strengthen strategic alliances inside and outside Colombia, with the purpose of facilitating the modernization and transformation of its production and research and development processes. .
On the other hand, the Director of Thales in Colombia, the French electronics company dedicated to the development of information systems and services for the aerospace, defense and security markets, noted that “the Military Industry is a strong partner recognized in Colombia and the region; Therefore, we are proud to partner with them because it allows us to carry out and land research projects that Thales is currently working on for the Defense sector.”
