This Wednesday, July 13, the Military Industry will receive the certificates for the renewal of accreditations for service laboratories, granted by the Colombian Accreditation Body-ONAC.
As part of the strategy to make Indumil a profitable and sustainable company, the diversification of business lines has become the main tool to fulfill this purpose. Therefore, the formation of a network of Testing and Calibration Laboratories was defined as a strategic objective, which has gradually been strengthened with the purpose of providing services to the national industry and thus taking advantage of the infrastructure and expertise of the personnel that the company has. The certification of all the processes developed by the Military Industry under a solid Management System has generated the need to ensure the operation of the laboratories under these same parameters. Thus, since its implementation in 2008, the line of laboratory services has made 12 laboratories and 27 services available to the national industry, all duly certified by the National Accreditation Body of Colombia (Onac).
It is pertinent to mention that having a solid and constantly improving Comprehensive Management System has allowed Indumil to have certified processes for the development and consolidation of its business lines, access to more clients, provide security to all its collaborators and develop more processes. environmentally friendly, just to mention some benefits that have been possible thanks to the regulation of the organization's operation.
