Last Wednesday the young Colombian cyclist, Esteban Chaves Rubio, visited the Central Offices, with the purpose of sharing with our officials and making known what his professional experience in international cycling has been like.
Esteban is from Bogotá, his entire life has been developed around cycling and since 2011 he joined the Colombian team in this discipline, a step that has allowed him to climb quickly, but with great effort, to the major spheres of cycling.
Among his achievements it is worth highlighting his participation in various global stages, such as the Tour of Switzerland, Tour of California and in the most recent version of the Vuelta a España, in which he obtained the lead during six stages. His participation in the next version of the Giro d'Italia and the Vuelta a España was recently confirmed, a stage that undoubtedly brings together the best in the world.
For its part, Indumil, headed by Colonel (RA) Juan Manuel Padilla Cepeda, general manager, with heartfelt words and an honorable mention, expressed the recognition and admiration that the entire country feels today for the valuable representation that Esteban makes in other latitudes. and called to continue bringing this message of tenacity to all Colombians. The visit of this important cyclist was organized by the Orica company, which sponsors Esteban who is currently part of the Australian Orica Green Edge team.
