ANFO Blasting Agent

It is a blasting agent type explosive made up of a mixture of ammonium nitrate, biodiesel or hydrocarbon mixtures, sensitive to initiation by a multiplier – Pentofex, with poor resistance to humidity and unsuitable for underground operations. It is very safe during handling and use. It allows it to be loaded manually or pneumatically into the holes. It is used in open field blasting such as: mining or exploitation of soft or semi-hard rocks in quarries and in civil works. Column charge is used as an explosive.
