On November 7, the II Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation of the Defense Sector: Applications and contemporary challenges was held, with the participation of more than a thousand people from all the companies that make up the Sector.
The event was inaugurated by the Minister of Defense Juan Carlos Pinzon Bello, who assured that in the recent history of the country a series of decisions have been made from the national strategic level, which have been transforming the capacity of the Armed Forces and have generated an appropriation of technological knowledge and opportunities that have not only had results in terms of security and well-being of Colombians, but are projected as technologies that can perfectly be incorporated into the country's economic development opportunities.
