Thanks to these efforts, the Military Industry is able to produce 44,000 Galil ACE rifles per year as of March 2010. Likewise, the Galil rifle will continue to be manufactured in its different AR, SAR and ARM models, with equal capacity. production to guarantee the availability of spare parts. The Galil ACE 5.56 mm caliber rifle is characterized by its low weight, due to the use of technologically advanced materials, ability to receive a variety of accessories (five simultaneously, reflective sights, assault grip, lighting accessories among others), due to the availability of picatiny-type rails that improve the precision of the weapon, allowing the consumption of ammunition to be reduced due to the effectiveness of the shot, which is achieved thanks to a balance of the recoil forces and the travel times of the trigger experienced by the shooter , added to its low maintenance cost.
The new Galil ACE caliber 5.56 mm allows its length to be regulated in six positions and to be adjusted to the size of the combatant, improving the effectiveness of the shot. Its ergonomic design makes the shooter concentrate on the target, approaching a sniper rifle. In addition to having a novel mechanism that positions the slide rearward after firing the last cartridge, allowing the introduction of a new magazine without the shooter losing concentration on the target.
Finally, the rifle retains the reliability and resistance characteristics of the Galil rifle that has been extensively tested by our fighters.
